- Base salary will be in the range $97,269 - $104,349 + 17% super (UQC Admin Level 6).

About This Opportunity
Join UQ College as a Senior Officer, Academic Administration and Compliance and play a key role in student success. In this role, you will provide academic administration services that support program delivery, student experience, and compliance requirements.
Working closely with academic and professional staff, you will help maintain efficient processes, accurate records, and high-quality service across UQ College.
Key responsibilities will include
- Coordinate student enrolment, academic progression, matriculation, and related administrative processes.
- Maintain student enrolment systems and databases, ensuring data integrity, reliability, confidentiality, and compliance with privacy and records management requirements.
- Support compliance, audit, accreditation, quality assurance, and reporting activities.
- Monitor changes to legislation, regulations, and policies, providing advice and guidance to help stakeholders meet compliance requirements.
- Coordinate the preparation and distribution of academic documentation, including transcripts and certificates.
- Manage textbook and course material procurement, inventory, and distribution.
- Oversee room bookings for non-teaching events and activities, ensuring alignment with program schedules and requirements.
- Provide information, guidance and administrative advice regarding academic progression and student administration matters.
- Prepare reports and analyse data to support operational planning and decision-making.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance administrative efficiency, service quality, and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support program delivery, student progression and policy implementation.
- Undertake other duties as directed by the Senior Manager, Academic Administration and Compliance.
About You
- Relevant undergraduate degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training and relevant professional experience.
- Experience in student and academic administration within higher education sector, including supporting international students.
- Strong digital skills and experience with enterprise systems.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Sound understanding of the ESOS legislative framework, the National Code of Practice, ASQA Standards and relevant government policies, including international student visa regulations.

- Comply with the UQC Staff Code of Conduct and The University of Queensland’s Code of Conduct.
- Work in alignment with Queensland occupational health and safety legislation and related responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000, the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018, and associated policies, and procedures.
- Demonstrate a commitment to student wellbeing,
including adherence to UQC’s child and youth safety policies and the respectful treatment of all students.
- Adopt sustainable work practices in line with organisational sustainability commitments.
