Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Procurement Manager to lead their end-to-end procurement and supply chain function within a leading window furnishings business. This is a senior leadership role focused on strategic sourcing, supplier management, cost optimisation, and driving profitability across the business. You will play a key role in shaping supply chain strategy, developing supplier networks, supporting new product development (NPD), and delivering measurable cost savings. This is not a transactional purchasing role — it is a strategic procurement leadership position focused on improving margins, strengthening supplier relationships, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

n

Lead sourcing initiatives to deliver annual savings (compounding year-on-year)

n

Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities across product categories and supply chains

n

Support and drive New Product Development (NPD) initiatives

n

Ensure procurement decisions balance cost, quality, and risk

n

Oversee all purchasing activity and procurement team performance

n

Manage stock levels aligned with sales forecasts and promotional activity

n

Develop accurate purchasing plans based on demand and market trends

n

Optimise direct import strategies to improve margins and reduce costs

n

Manage supplier contracts, agreements, and relationships

n

Drive freight, logistics, and landed cost efficiencies

n





Oversee supplier rebates, credits, and claims resolution

n

Maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), product costs, and sell prices

n

Conduct annual reviews of product costs, pricing structures, and margins

n

Ensure pricing accuracy and profitability across all product lines

n

Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, and procedures

n

Provide reporting and insights on DIFOT, lead times, stock availability, and carrier performance

n

Resolve operational issues and support cross-functional stakeholders

n

About You

n

Minimum 5+ years' experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Operations leadership

n

Proven experience in the window furnishings industry (essential)

n

Strong track record of delivering measurable cost savings and commercial outcomes

n

Experience managing teams and driving performance

n

Strong background in inventory planning, forecasting, and stock control

n

Experience in high-volume, made-to-order environments, projects, within lead times

n
