IT Infrastructure Support Officer | 6-Month Contract

About the Opportunity

Keecore Pty Ltd is seeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure Support Officer for an initial 6-month contract with one of our established clients on Sydney's Lower North Shore.

We are looking for a capable IT generalist with a positive attitude, strong team spirit and a willingness to help across the wider technology environment.

This is not a narrowly defined service desk position. You will work alongside an internal IT team, assisting users, troubleshooting technical problems and supporting day-to-day infrastructure and technology operations.

What You'll Be Doing

- Providing L1/L2 technical support to users
- Troubleshooting Windows, hardware, software and connectivity issues
- Supporting desktops, laptops, peripherals and business applications
- Assisting with Microsoft 365 and general Microsoft technology issues
- Supporting user accounts, access and permissions
- Deploying and configuring end-user equipment
- Managing incidents and service requests through to resolution
- Assisting the wider IT team with infrastructure and operational activities
- Supporting upgrades, technology changes and project activities
- Maintaining accurate technical documentation and support records
- Working collaboratively and assisting across the team when required

What We're Looking For

You will ideally have:





- Previous experience in IT support, desktop support, service desk or infrastructure support
- Strong Windows troubleshooting skills
- Experience supporting users in a business environment
- A good understanding of Microsoft 365 and common Microsoft technologies
- General knowledge of networking, endpoints, user accounts and IT infrastructure
- Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A practical and positive approach to your work
- A genuine team mentality and willingness to help others
- Australian working rights

Exposure to technologies such as Microsoft 365, Intune, Active Directory/Entra ID, networking or infrastructure administration will be highly regarded.

Important

This position is onsite five days per week on Sydney's Lower North Shore.
