About the Role

n

Working closely with senior leaders the In‐House Counsel role is part of a collaborative and experienced legal team. It will provide commercial and legal advice on a range of legal matters in a fast‐paced and highly collaborative environment. Specific work includes:

- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including client, supplier, and service agreements.
n
- Monitor regulatory developments, and deliver clear and concise advice to ensure the organisation meets its regulatory requirements.
n
- Provide general legal advice on key business areas such as intellectual property, data protection, privacy, employment and management of litigation.
n

About You

n

n
- Qualified legal practitioner in Australia with 4‐8 years of experience within an in‐house team.
n
- Proven ability to deliver practical,



commercially focused legal advice and independently manage legal matters.
n
- Strong understanding of relevant regulations, particularly ASIC and APRA frameworks.
n
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage internal client relationships and external service providers, including the ability to convey legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
n
- Excellent writing, time management skills, with high attention to detail and strong commercial acumen.
n
- Self‐motivated and able to work both as part of a team and autonomously.
n
- Willingness to take on diverse legal challenges.
