The Role

We are looking to add an experienced Senior Investment Banking Associate to our Australia team to help our growth efforts in Asia Pacific.

Experience

n

n
- Min 4-6 years of IB / sell side M&A; experience & having closed at-least 4 deals in the past
n
- Experience in IT Services or Technology M&A; is highly preferred but not mandatory
n

n

Skills

n

n
- Strong accounting and financial skills
n
- Proficient in preparation of Information Memorandums, Pitches and Teasers
n
- Proficiency in financial modelling & valuation techniques
n
- Ability to multi-task and execute multiple mandates timely with minimal supervision
n
- Ability to negotiate offers, deal structures, transaction documents (and key issues) involved in an M&A; process
n
- Team player & ability to work in a globally dispersed team
n




- Flexibility to travel across Asia Pacific
n
- Comfortable with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
n
- Conversant with databases like S&P; CapIQ
n
- Passion for Investment Banking
n

Responsibilities

n

n
- Responsible to execute transactions end to end including the preparation of Pitches, Information Memorandums and Financial Models
n
- Supporting/guiding a team of analysts and associates
n
- Doing target and acquirer screening
n
- Participate in management/buyer meetings, handle Q&As; and negotiate offers
n
- Assistance in drafting and evaluating various legal documents like NDAs, etc.,
n
- Facilitation of buyer and seller interactions (organizing road shows, conference calls, etc.,)
n
- Manage the due diligence and transaction documentation process
n
- Take an active part in business development efforts of the team by participating in origination activity and making client pitches
n
- Carry out extensive industry / company research and target data required for identification and assessment of possible mandates
n
