We’re looking for a Senior Risk Analyst to join a lean, hands-on risk team on an 8 month fixed-term contract.

This is a truly broad second line role covering enterprise and operational risk, controls, financial crime, GRC and assurance, with the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, support the CRO and have a visible impact across the organisation.

The role

- Providing second line risk partnering, constructive challenge and practical advice to Line 1.
- Supporting risk maturity uplift across the organisation, including risk appetite, KRIs, risk profiles and emerging risks.
- Leading risk and control assessments, reviews and assurance activity.
- Supporting risk reporting and presentations for Executive and Board Committees.
- Supporting CPS 230/234, operational resilience, service provider and information security risk.
- Managing the GRC platform, including risk and incident management, reporting and workflows.
- Coordinating internal audit activity, assurance mapping and remediation tracking.
- Developing and embedding risk culture, training and awareness initiatives.
- Supporting incident management, risk in change and broader enterprise risk initiatives.
- Managing financial crime activity including AML/CTF, fraud,



transaction monitoring and risk assessments.

You’ll ideally bring:
- Strong second line enterprise and operational risk experience.
- Superannuation, wealth or funds management experience is highly regarded.
- Practical experience across risk frameworks, controls, KRIs, risk appetite and emerging risks.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as SPS 220, CPS 230 and CPS 234
- Experience building or improving risk frameworks, policies and governance processes.
- Experience with Protecht or similar GRC platforms.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to distil complex issues into clear reporting.
- A proactive, autonomous approach with robust attention to detail and delivery.
