You'll be part of a collaborative engineering team focused on floodplain management, stormwater planning and improving the resilience of critical infrastructure.
Your New Role As the Senior Engineer - Flooding & Stormwater, you will lead and deliver stormwater infrastructure planning projects, contribute to floodplain management initiatives and support the development of long-term capital works programs. You will provide expert technical advice on hydrology, hydraulics and stormwater management, manage consultants, undertake investigations and engage with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Degree qualification in Civil, Environmental, Water Engineering or a related discipline.
- RPEQ registration, or the ability to obtain registration within 12 months.
- Robust experience in stormwater modelling, design and infrastructure planning.
- Sound knowledge of floodplain management, stormwater standards and relevant Queensland guidelines.
- Experience managing projects, consultants and technical reports.
- Proficiency with stormwater and flood modelling software and GIS platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Current C Class driver's licence.
