Hays is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join the delivery team on one of Western Australia’s most significant urban developments.

If you have 5+ years experience as a structural engineer with high rise or tower project exposure this could be for you.

This landmark $4B Burswood project will be composed of 30 high-rise towers alongside a large-scale retail and lifestyle precinct, setting a new benchmark for integrated mixed-use developments in Australia.

This role offers exposure to complex, multi-tower staging, large structural packages, and high-profile stakeholder environments.

Your new role

- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of major structural and high-rise packages
- Work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and design consultants to drive the program and technical outcomes.
- Oversee subcontractor performance across concrete structures, vertical builds, and core works
- Manage and review design documentation, ensuring constructability and compliance
- Drive program, cost, and quality outcomes across the assigned scope.
- Coordinate interfaces across multiple towers and precinct infrastructure
- Implement and maintain high standards in safety, QA, and risk management




- Mentor and support Project Engineers and Site Engineers within the team.

What you'll need to succeed

- Demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Engineer on large-scale high rise/ tower commercial construction projects (preferably with Tier 1 or 2 contractors)
- Strong background delivering high-rise developments (15+ storeys preferred)
- Extensive knowledge of structural packages (concrete/steel framed towers)
- Proven ability to manage complex staging and multi-building developments
- Strong commercial acumen and subcontractor management experience
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil/Structural or equivalent)
