Senior Site Supervisor (Road Maintenance / Concrete / Formwork) – South East Queensland

Amharc is looking for an experienced Senior Site Supervisor to join our team in South East Queensland. With a steady pipeline of diverse projects, we offer stable, long-term work in a professional and friendly environment. We are seeking a dedicated individual interested in a long-term role as part of one of our core crews.

About the Role

As a Senior Supervisor, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:

- Bridgeworks, retaining walls, culverts, slab-on-ground (footpaths, kerb and channel, v-drains, etc.), fencing, noise wall installation, barriers
- Managing multiple job sites and work crews.
- Ensuring works are carried out to the highest level of quality and in a safe manner.
- Assisting in programming works and cost management.
- Assisting in pricing projects.
- Liaising with subcontractors and clients.
- Performing all aspects of formwork, steel fixing, and concreting.

Role would suit supervisors with either a Formwork or Concreting background who are looking to take a step up.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in the civil construction industry
- Ability to work independently and lead a team of tradespeople
- Strong commitment to safety and quality work
- A reliable and proactive approach
- 2 work references from previous supervisors (must be ready for us to call)

Essential Requirements

- To be considered, you must have: ✔️ Valid Driver's Licence





✔️ White Card

✔️ Certificate III in Concreting (or relevant experience)

✔️ Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

✔️ Experience working on TMR projects required

✔️ 2 work references from previous supervisors (must be ready for us to call)

- Certificate III in Concreting is preferred, however relevant practical experience in concrete and formwork will be considered as an acceptable alternative.
- Previous experience working on any Transport and Main Roads (TMR) projects is essential for this position.

Desirable Tickets & Licences (Advantageous but Not Essential)

- EWP (Elevated Work Platform)
- Telehandler
- Working at Heights
- Dogman
- Riggers
- Scaffolders
- QBCC nominated supervisor licence

Training can be provided for the right candidate with the right attitude. This is a permanent position.
