Role/Title: Senior System Administrator- AIX and Storage - 6 -10 Years

Mode of Hiring: Contract

Location: Melbourne

:

Role Focus: Enterprise storage, IBM Power Systems, and AIX administration.

Key Responsibilities & Experience:

Storage Admin: Dell EMC PowerMax (PMAX), SRDF replication, SnapVX, Dell Data Domain, Cisco SAN switches, LUN masking/zoning,



and SAN migrations.

AIX Admin: IBM Power10, AIX installation/patching/upgrades, NIM, LDAP integration, Boot from SAN, and LVM/LVG management.

Disaster Recovery & Backup: DR failover/failback testing, RTO/RPO compliance, Dell PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM), and backup retention.

Mandatory Skills & Critical Requirements: 12+ years experience with hands-on expertise in AIX, Power10, NIM, Boot from SAN, SRDF, PMAX, and DR failover.
