Permanent, part-time (31.5 hrs per week) with scope to move to full-time depending on enrolments
Salary: AUD $80,000 - $85,000 base (FTE) + super
Vehicle Allowance: $17,000 including Fuel & eTag costs (pro-rata based on working days)

As a Trainer Assessor in Carpentry, you will deliver onsite training and assessment for apprentices across pre-apprenticeship, school-based, and workplace contexts. The Trainer & Assessor plays a key role in ensuring training is delivered to the highest standards of quality, compliance, and industry relevance. The role also supports student engagement, employer communication, assessment validation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities





- This role will require the trainer to deliver training across various locations between Gosford - Sydney and surrounding regions. Occasional travel and overnight stay will be required (at the expense of CWBTS).
- Prepare and facilitate compliant, industry-aligned training sessions
- Assess student competency and support students through regular communication, feedback, and progress monitoring to ensure successful outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records in LMS, ReadySkills, and VETtrak
- Build robust relationships with apprentices and employers
