Avani Mooloolaba Beach Hotel has been open for three exciting months, and following an incredible response from our guests, we’re looking for an exceptional Spa Therapist to join and help grow our talented team.

Our boutique hotel has quickly established itself as one of Mooloolaba’s most exciting new destinations, earning outstanding guest feedback since opening. Positioned just 100 metres from the pristine beach and the home to the incredible Sully's rooftop restaurant, the hotel sits where surf breaks meet the buzzing esplanade. Its design seamlessly blends contemporary style with coastal charm, creating the perfect backdrop for a beach escape with a side of adventure.

As demand for our wellness experiences continues to grow, we’re expanding our AvaniSpa team and seeking a passionate professional who shares our commitment to exceptional guest service.

Working within our luxury spa workplace, you’ll deliver five-star treatments including signature massages, facials, body treatments and couples experiences. More importantly, you’ll create memorable moments that leave guests feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and eager to return.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver Exceptional Spa Experiences

-Perform a range of professional treatments including massage, facials and body treatments

-Deliver personalised consultations and treatment recommendations.

-Ensure every guest receives a warm, welcoming and memorable experience.

-Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and guest care.

Guest Engagement & Service Excellence

-Build genuine connections with guests through attentive and personalised service.





-Anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations at every opportunity.

-Promote spa services, packages and retail products where appropriate.

-Handle guest enquiries with confidence and professionalism.

Spa Operations

-Prepare and maintain treatment rooms to five-star presentation standards.

-Ensure cleanliness, hygiene and safety procedures are consistently followed.

-Assist with opening and closing spa duties.

-Support smooth day-to-day spa operations.

Team Collaboration

-Work closely with colleagues to create a positive team culture.

-Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

-Contribute ideas to enhance the guest experience and spa offering.

-Represent the Avani brand values in every guest interaction.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Spa Therapist, Facialist or Massage Therapist.

-Strong experience delivering massage and facial treatments.

-A warm, professional and polished presence.

-Impeccable customer engagement and communication skills.

-A genuine passion for wellness and creating exceptional guest experiences.

-Ability to work midweek shifts with flexibility to work weekends as required.

-Experience working in a hotel, resort or day spa environment highly regarded.

-Relevant Beauty Therapy, Spa Therapy or Massage qualifications preferred.





-A positive attitude and willingness to learn, with comprehensive training provided.
