About the role

Richtek Roofing is seeking an experienced Roof Tiler/Roofer to join our team in Perth, WA. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality roofing solutions to our clients. As a Roof Tiler/Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems across a variety of residential and commercial projects. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and craftsmanship in the building trades sector.

What you'll be doing

- Roof tile repairs and maintenance

- Replacing broken and damaged tiles

- Ridge cap removal and replacement

- Re-bedding and repointing ridge caps

- Valley replacement and repairs

- Tile roof restorations

- Leak detection and repairs

- Roof inspections

- Tile replacement and matching

- Flashing repairs and replacement

- General roof maintenance

- Working alongside our roof plumbing and restoration teams

- Completing works safely and to a high standard

- Taking before, during and completion photos of all works

What we're looking for

- A recognised roof tiling or roofing qualification or trade certificate (e.g. Diploma in Building Trades or equivalent)

- Proven experience of at least 3-5 years working as a roof tiler or roofer in residential or commercial settings

- Strong working knowledge of roofing materials, installation techniques, and industry best practices

- Proficiency with roofing tools and equipment,



including power tools and safety equipment

- Excellent physical fitness and ability to work safely at heights

- A valid driver's licence and reliable access to transport

- Current First Aid certification (preferred)

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Good communication skills and a professional approach to client interactions

- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards relevant to roofing work
