About the role

Nortrans' is seeking an experienced HC / MC Driver to join our busy road transport team in Townsville, QLD. As a full-time Driver, you'll be responsible for safely operating heavy commercial vehicles to deliver goods across the region. This is a hands-on role that is crucial to our continued success and growth.

Key responsibilities

- Safely operating HC and MC class vehicles to transport goods and materials
- Loading and unloading vehicles as required
- Completing necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and on time
- Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of your assigned vehicle
- Adhering to all relevant road laws, safety regulations and company policies
- Communicating effectively with the operations team and customers

About you

- A current HC or MC driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Demonstrated experience operating heavy commercial vehicles
- Strong organisational and time management skills




- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Side loaders is an advantage
