About The Role
The Program Lead – Community and Mental Health (Regional) is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing delivery, quality and performance across a diverse community services and mental health training portfolio in regional Victoria.
Reporting to the Department Manager, you will lead and support a team of 11 educators delivering nationally recognised vocational qualifications across Community Services, Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD), Youth Work and Justice. While the role has a strong leadership focus, you will also contribute directly to classroom delivery and maintain strong connections with industry and community stakeholders.
You will oversee program planning, staff capability, student outcomes and operational performance while helping ensure our training remains relevant, engaging and aligned to workforce needs across the community services sector.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will drive educational excellence,
foster a positive team culture and support continuous improvement across the portfolio.
This is a predominantly campus-based position located in Bendigo, offering the opportunity to lead meaningful programs that directly contribute to stronger communities and improved wellbeing outcomes.
