Senior Camper Trailer / Caravan Maintenance Technician
Full-Time | Elizabeth South, SA | Build Adventure
Who We Are
At Offline Campers, we don't just build campers. We build machines that take people further, deeper, and wilder into Australia than they've ever been.
Proudly based in the old Holden factory in Elizabeth South, we're continuing the legacy of Australian manufacturing through quality craftsmanship, innovation, and a team that genuinely enjoys what they do.
If you're the kind of person who likes seeing the results of your work heading off on adventures instead of sitting in a filing cabinet, you might have just found your next role.
The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Senior Camper Trailer / Caravan Maintenance Technician to lead our maintenance department.
You'll have your own dedicated maintenance bay, giving you the opportunity to take ownership of the space, organise it your way, and create an efficient workshop that reflects your standards.
This is a varied, hands-on role. One day you'll be diagnosing electrical faults, the next servicing suspension components, completing warranty repairs, or preparing a brand-new camper for handover. You'll also be one of the first points of contact for customers requiring technical support, helping diagnose faults over the phone or via email when they're out on the road. As required, you'll also assist our production team to keep builds moving through the workshop.
No two days are the same, and that's exactly how we like it.
What You'll Get Stuck Into
- Complete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and structural faults
- Carry out warranty and customer repairs
- Work across 12V and 240V electrical systems, plumbing, chassis, suspension, cabinetry and accessories
- Troubleshoot customer issues over the phone and via email, helping diagnose faults while customers are travelling
- Provide practical advice to customers and determine when a repair can be completed remotely or requires workshop attention
- Prepare new campers for customer handovers, ensuring every detail is right
- Maintain and take ownership of your dedicated maintenance bay
- Assist the production team during busy periods as required
- Contribute ideas to improve workshop efficiency and product quality
Who We're Looking For
You may come from the automotive, caravan, RV or mechanical industries. What matters most is that you take pride in your work and believe that "valuable enough" never is.
We're looking for someone with:
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with customers to diagnose issues remotely
- Experience working with mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
- High attention to detail
- A positive, reliable and team-focused attitude
- A current driver's licence
- A trade qualification is advantageous but not essential for the right person
Why You'll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Flexible working hours because life doesn't always fit into a schedule
- Your own dedicated maintenance bay to manage and make your own
- Uniforms and PPE supplied
- Monthly team breakfasts
- Free soft drinks and FUIC (yes, really!)
- Supportive family-owned business with a great team culture
- Genuine opportunities for career growth as our business continues to expand
- Work on premium Australian-made campers that customers genuinely love
Ready to Join the Crew?
If you're looking for a role where your skills are valued, your ideas are welcomed, and your work helps create unforgettable adventures, we'd love to hear from you.
