In the Female Support Worker role, you will support this vision by providing high-quality support to clients in an Supported Independent Living (SIL) setting.

What you will do

- Provide personalised support to clients in accordance with their individual support plans
- Work a variety of shifts including active nights, sleepovers, weekdays, and weekends
- Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
- Support the team in facilitating community participation and social activities
- Support clients in developing life skills and promoting independence
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation

What you will bring

- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or above
- A passion for safeguarding human rights and a deep personal connection to working in a purpose-driven organisation
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and a current Class C Driver Licence
- A current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Passport, Birth Certificate, or Citizenship Certificate to validate Australian work rights
- Willingness to complete a National and International Police Check (paid for by Afford)




- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and functional assessment (paid for by Afford)
