Payroll Team Leader – Accuracy, Service and Team Success

About the position:

Make a meaningful impact as you lead and support a team of Payroll Officers responsible for the accurate and timely processing of employee payments and records. You will coordinate day-to-day payroll activities, build team capability and help ensure compliance with relevant industrial awards and agreements.

What you will bring:

- A strong combination of relevant experience, qualifications and practical capability to perform the role.
- Proven payroll experience in a large or complex organisation, with sound knowledge of payroll practices and procedures.
- Working knowledge of the policies, industrial instruments and statutory requirements that govern payroll.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, coach and organise a team while managing competing deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, supported by a responsive, customer-focused approach.
- A collaborative leadership style and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
