Alice Village is welcoming applications for a Housekeeping role.

Preference will be given to those applicants who already reside in Alice Springs. Candidates should only apply if they have current, valid working rights.

Located less than 5km from the center of Alice Springs, Alice Village offers visitors clean and comfortable accommodation in a quiet setting out of town with views of the spectacular MacDonnell Ranges.

Alice Village offers a variety of accommodation options for both short term, and long term stays, with studio apartments, right through to 4 bedroom house, and onsite gym, swimming pool, BBQ area and onsite parking.

The role:

This role will require 30-40 hours commitment per week, with primary duties being:

- Perform cleaning duties of cabins, amenities areas, leisure facilities and grounds





- Proactively report any maintenance requests to the Caretaker to ensure minimal impact to guests and visitors

- Engage with guests and visitors to ensure they have a positive experience whilst at the Village

Suitable Candidates:

- A minimum of 6 months housekeeping experience or a minimum of 12 months commercial cleaning experience

- This role requires someone with a reasonable level of fitness due to the physical nature of the role

- A robust eye for detail balanced with an ability to work independently and efficiently

- Ideally hold a current Australian Drivers Licence (and be able to drive a manual car) though this is not essential

- Excellent communication skills

Candidates may be required to complete an internal Fitness for Work Assessment as part of the recruitment process for this role.
