Where you’ll be working
Joining an expanding regional Department of Internal Medicine, you will deliver expert clinical care across inpatient, outpatient, and consultation streams within a dedicated Geriatric and Rehabilitation Service. This role offers strong clinical autonomy to shape subacute pathways, including ortho-geriatric care, stroke rehabilitation, and virtual ward initiatives. You will work alongside general physicians and a robust multidisciplinary team while providing clinical governance and workplace-based assessment supervision to junior medical staff. Practitioners seeking dual career pathways benefit from structured administrative backing, sessional room arrangements, and established referral networks with local private facilities to establish an independent private practice alongside their public commitment.

Salary

Total package ranges from $451,060 up to $564,548 per annum for full-time appointments.

Requirements

Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent.
