About the role
We are seeking a Senior Insights Analyst to join our Strategy, Insights & Delivery function, reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer.
This role is responsible for delivering the market intelligence, competitor analysis and business performance insights that help shape strategic decision-making across Resimac. Working closely with senior leaders, you'll establish a structured and repeatable approach to collecting, consolidating and analysing both internal and external data, transforming complex information into clear, actionable insights.
You'll play a key role in helping Resimac understand its market position, identify opportunities, anticipate risks and improve business performance through data-driven decision-making.

Key responsibilities
Reporting into the Chief Strategy Officer, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and maintaining a market intelligence and competitor benchmarking capability that provides visibility of Resimac's relative performance, emerging opportunities and strategic risks
- Collecting, consolidating and analysing internal and external data sources, including competitor, customer, broker, market, economic and industry information
- Translating complex data into actionable insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making
- Developing executive reporting, scorecards, benchmarking frameworks and dashboards to support business performance management and planning
- Providing market, competitor and commercial analysis to support strategy development, investment decisions and key business initiatives
- Preparing executive-quality presentations, briefing papers and reports for the Chief Strategy Officer, CEO, Senior Leadership Team and Board
- Partnering with leaders across Product, Sales, Operations, Finance, Risk and Technology to validate insights and support data-informed decision-making
- Leveraging AI, analytics and automation technologies to improve the quality, efficiency and scalability of insight generation and reporting
About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- 5+ years' experience in business insights, market intelligence, strategy, analytics, business performance or consulting roles
- Proven experience analysing complex data sets and translating findings into executive-level recommendations
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to connect data insights to business outcomes
- Experience developing dashboards, reporting frameworks and executive presentations for senior leadership teams and Boards
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation
- A proactive and curious mindset, with a passion for solving business problems through data and analysis
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Technical skills & experience
You'll have strong capability across most of the following:
- Advanced Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Market intelligence, competitor analysis and benchmarking methodologies
- Business performance measurement and strategic planning frameworks
- Data visualisation, analytics and business intelligence reporting
- SQL, Python or other analytical tools (highly desirable)
- AI, automation and advanced analytics techniques
- Financial services or mortgage industry knowledge (preferred)
