RACT is looking for Driving Instructors to help learner drivers gain the skills, confidence and independence they need to become safe drivers.

We have opportunities based in Devonport:

- Part-time position based in Devonport

- Full-time position working across Devonport and Burnie

Whether you've worked in teaching, training, coaching, customer service or another people-focused role, this could be the career change you've been looking for.

You'll create a positive learning experience, guide learners through challenges, and celebrate their success as they achieve an important life milestone.

No previous Driving Instructor experience? That's okay. If you have strong people skills and a passion for helping others succeed, we'll provide the training and support you need to become a qualified Driving Instructor.

- You love helping people learn and build confidence.

- You enjoy coaching, mentoring, teaching or supporting others.

- You're patient, calm and encouraging.

- You can build rapport with people from all walks of life.

- You're looking for a meaningful career change.

- You've worked in customer service, education, training, coaching or another people-focused role.

What you'll bring:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- The ability to work independently and stay organised.

- Good problem-solving skills and sound judgement.

- Confidence using everyday computer applications to manage bookings, payments and administration tasks.

- A current Working with Vulnerable People registration, or willingness to obtain one.





- Willingness and ability to obtain Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training.

What you'll need:

- Be at least 21 years of age.

- Held a full Australian Driver Licence for at least three years.
