You'll complete painting work in majority residential properties affected by water, storm, fire and other insurable damage. Projects range from minor repairs and water-damaged ceilings to complete internal and external repaints. Insurance repairs require more than excellent painting skills. You'll need to work carefully in occupied homes, communicate professionally with customers and coordinate effectively with supervisors, tradespeople and our office team.

- Complete painting work in residential properties affected by water, storm, fire and other insurable damage
- Work on projects ranging from minor repairs and water-damaged ceilings to complete internal and external repaints
- Work carefully in occupied homes and communicate professionally with customers
- Coordinate effectively with supervisors, tradespeople and office team
- Identify issues, assess the work required and solve problems on site
- Manage your time and complete jobs efficiently
- Support less-experienced painters when required
About you
- Demonstrated professional painting experience, including substantial experience in insurance repairs
- Strong preparation, colour-matching and finishing skills
- Experience repairing and painting water-damaged ceilings, walls and other affected surfaces
- A high standard of workmanship and exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and manage your time
- Professional and respectful communication skills
- Confidence working in occupied homes and supporting customers following property damage
- A positive attitude and willingness to support less-experienced painters
- A current Australian driver's licence
- A reliable and suitable work vehicle
- A current White Card
- An active ABN
- Appropriate tools and equipment
- Current public liability and other relevant insurance
- The right to work in Australia
- Plastering experience is highly regarded but not essential
- Relevant trade qualifications are preferred
