About the Role
St Andrew's Anglican College is seeking a passionate, values-driven Music teacher to join our College on a full-time, ongoing basis, commencing at the start of the 2027 academic year. This is a combined role, comprising 0.5 FTE Music (P-12) together with a complementary teaching area to make up a full time timetable. We welcome applications from candidates who can offer experience in a second teaching area alongside Music - please indicate your area(s) of specialisation in your application.
This is a rare opportunity to teach in the Sunshine Coast's newest Performing Arts Centre, featuring extensive and progressive music teaching and performance facilities, and to help shape the future of Music education at the College as this exciting new space comes to life.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Music teacher who can:

- Deliver engaging, high-quality Music curriculum across the P-12 continuum, in line with the Australian Curriculum/QCAA syllabus requirements
- Teach effectively in a second, complementary subject area to complete a full-time timetable
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom setting that supports student wellbeing and achievement across primary and secondary settings
- Contribute to the pastoral and co-curricular life of the College, including the College's music program (ensembles, performances, and events)
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
About You
- Current (or eligible for) registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education, with Music as a specialist teaching area
- A second teaching area suitable for a secondary or P-12 timetable
- Experience or confidence teaching across a P-12 range highly regarded
- A genuine commitment to student-centred learning and pastoral care
- Willingness to contribute to co-curricular programs (music, sport, or other activities)
- Alignment with, or willingness to support, the Anglican ethos and values of the College
