We are seeking an experienced Mining & Engineering Systems Specialist to lead the deployment, integration, and optimisation of specialist mining and engineering platforms across our operations and client environments.

This is a unique opportunity for a technically capable professional who enjoys working at the intersection of mining operations, engineering systems, automation, and digital transformation. You will act as the critical link between Australian operations and our international partners, helping deliver innovative solutions that improve operational visibility, productivity, and decision-making.

About the Role

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will take ownership of specialist mining and engineering systems, supporting both project delivery and ongoing operational performance.

Key responsibilities include:

- Configuring, developing and supporting mining and engineering software platforms.

- Leading system integration, automation and data synchronisation initiatives across multiple environments.

- Supporting the deployment of operational technology solutions, including integration with mining operations, control rooms and production systems.

- Working closely with engineering, operations and technology teams to improve data quality, reporting and workflow efficiency.

- Acting as the primary technical liaison between Australian and international stakeholders.

- Supporting international project delivery through structured travel to remote operations and partner locations.

- Contributing to the development of emerging digital, automation and AI capabilities across the business.

About You





You are a highly autonomous technical specialist who combines strong systems expertise with practical knowledge of mining operations and industrial environments.

To be successful, you will possess:

- Around 5 years' experience in mining systems, operational technology (OT), engineering systems, or specialised technology deployments within the resources sector.

- Experience configuring and supporting mining, engineering, planning or operational software platforms.

- Strong understanding of systems integration, data management, automation workflows and enterprise applications.

- Experience working with CAD, BIM, engineering design platforms or digital engineering environments.

- Knowledge of mining operations, including production, equipment tracking, processing or operational reporting systems.

- Experience working with hybrid cloud and on-premise technology environments.

- Ability to work independently and manage complex technical initiatives with minimal supervision.

Language Requirements

Due to the international nature of this role, candidates must possess:

- Fluent in Russian (written and spoken).

- Professional English communication skills.

- Demonstrated experience translating and communicating technical concepts across multiple languages.

Desirable Experience

Experience with one or more of the following will be highly regarded:





- Fluency in Mongolian (written and spoken).

- Bentley Systems software environments.

- Commit Works.

- N8N automation platforms.

- ERP integrations, including Odoo.

- SCADA, control room technologies and operational intelligence platforms.

- Mining fleet management, equipment monitoring or production systems.

We recognise that the combination of mining systems expertise and multilingual capability is highly specialised. Applicants with strong mining, engineering systems, operational technology, or industrial software experience who meet the language requirements, but have experience with comparable platforms, are encouraged to apply. Training and support will be provided to develop platform-specific expertise where required.
