Who we are?
Police Bank is one of Australia’s fastest growing Mutual Banks. We are a progressive, purpose-driven financial institution, and we pride ourselves on offering a competitive range of financial products and services, all of which have been created with the needs of our members at front of mind.
The Opportunity
Are you organised, proactive and someone who loves keeping things running smoothly?
We’re looking for an Admin & Facilities Co-ordinator to join our People Team and play an important role in the day-to-day running of our Surry Hills office.
This is a great opportunity for someone at the start of their career who enjoys being hands-on, helping people and getting things done. You don’t need years of facilities or office management experience — what matters most is that you’re organised, reliable, confident communicating with others and keen to learn.
You’ll be the person helping make sure our office is well stocked, well maintained and a outstanding place for our people to work.
What you'll be doing
Office Operations & Supplies
- Help manage office stationery, kitchen supplies and general consumables
- Coordinate orders and maintain appropriate stock levels
- Liaise with suppliers and service providers
- Help keep kitchen, printing and shared office spaces organised and presentable
- Monitor office supplies and identify when things need to be replenished
Facilities
- Coordinate day-to-day facilities requests such as cleaning, maintenance and repairs
- Liaise with building management and contractors when required
- Help ensure the office is safe, functional and welcomin
- Assist with office equipment including printers, phones and meeting room technology
- Help identify and resolve day-to-day office issues
Administration & Support
- Provide general administrative support to the People Team and wider business
- Maintain office records, contact lists and documentation
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding, including workspace setup and equipment
- Help coordinate meetings, room bookings and office calendars
- Support team activities, events and other People Team initiatives when required
Policies & Processes
- Help maintain office procedures and processes
- Support workplace health and safety requirements
- Keep records and documentation up to date
- Look for simple ways to make our office processes more efficient
What are we looking for?
You don’t need to have done this exact role before. We’re looking for someone with the right attitude, organisation and willingness to learn.
- Some experience in administration, reception, customer service, coordination or a similar role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A proactive and hands-on approach — you see something that needs doing and get onto it
- Great attention to detail
- Confidence communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Basic proficiency across Microsoft Office
- The ability to work independently while also being part of a team
- A willingness to work 5 days per week from our Surry Hills office
This is a great role for someone looking to build their experience across administration, facilities, workplace coordination and People & Culture, with plenty of opportunity to learn along the way.
