LabourCo is looking for reliable workers to join our Council crews across the Lower Hunter!
We have multiple opportunities available across Singleton, Dungog, Cessnock and Maitland, working across a range of Council departments including Parks & Gardens, Construction, Roads, Waste, Maintenance and General Council Operations.
If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a team and getting your hands dirty, we want to hear from you!
Depending on the position, your day to day work could include:
• Parks and gardens maintenance
• Roads and civil maintenance
• General construction and labouring
• Waste and recycling centre operations
• Maintenance of Council facilities and public spaces
• Mowing, landscaping and vegetation management
• Manual handling and general labouring
• Traffic control and site support
• General Council works and maintenance tasks
What we're looking for
We are interested in people with experience in labouring, construction, civil works, landscaping, parks and gardens, waste, maintenance or similar roles.
Essential:
• White Card
• Current C Class Drivers Licence
• Reliable transport
• Good attitude and willingness to work
• Ability to perform physical and manual work
Highly regarded:
• Traffic Controller / Stop Slow Bat
• MR or HR Licence
• Forklift Licence
• Chainsaw or vegetation management tickets
• Civil construction experience
• Parks and Gardens experience
• Previous Council experience
