ZebraVet is an Australian-owned veterinary wholesaler, proudly supplying veterinary products nationwide for over 24 years. We’re expanding into Townsville with a new warehouse for ZebraVet, and are looking for a Storeperson to help us set it up and keep it running from day one. Working closely with our Warehouse Manager, you’ll thrive in this role if you’re versatile, hands-on, and happy to pitch in wherever you’re needed.

You’ll report directly to our Warehouse Manager, and with just the two of you getting this site up and running, this is a great opportunity to build a broader skill set beyond a typical storeperson role. You’ll be supported with hands-on, on-the-job training to set you up for success.

What you'll bring

- A genuinely positive attitude, and the drive to pitch in wherever you’re needed.

- Great attention to detail – you like getting things right, not just done.

- A reasonable level of fitness, as there’s some heavy lifting involved.

- A forklift licence isn’t essential, but it’s a definite advantage.

- Comfortable using handheld scanners, warehouse systems, and basic computer programs – or keen to learn.

- Some warehousing experience under your belt, ideally in a busy, hands-on environment.

- Flexibility and a can-do attitude – with just the two of you running the show, you’ll need to think on your feet and adapt as things come up.





Key responsibilities

- Help us bring our new Townsville warehouse to life – there’s plenty of hands-on setup work as we get things up and running.

- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, so our customers get what they need, on time.

- Receive inward goods and keep stock organised and easy to find.

- Load and unload trucks and containers, safely and efficiently.

- Get around on the forklift if you’re licensed, or keep working towards one – either way, we’ll keep stock moving safely and efficiently.

- Pitch in with general warehouse duties – no two days will look exactly the same.

- Make safety second nature, sticking to OH&S; practices as part of how you work every day.
