The Mine Site

Based in Central NSW, you'll be working at a large and established gold mining operation with both open pit and underground operations. The underground mine is relatively new and continues to ramp up production, creating excellent opportunities for people looking to enter the industry.

The Role

Starting as an Underground Truck Operator, you'll be trained to safely operate underground haul trucks and support the movement of material throughout the mine. It's a great introduction to underground mining and suits people who are comfortable around machinery,



enjoy hands-on work and aren't afraid of a physical working environment.

- Operate underground haul trucks to move ore and waste throughout the mine
- Complete pre-start inspections and basic equipment checks before each shift
- Work closely with underground operators, supervisors and production crews
- Follow underground traffic management, radio communication and safety procedures
- Assist with general underground duties and learn other areas of the operation as required

Roster & Hours

The position offers a two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off lifestyle roster. Due to the entry-level nature of the role, we're looking for people already based locally or genuinely willing to relocate to the West Wyalong area.

- 2:2 roster (7 days, 7 nights, 14 days off)
- 12-hour shifts - approximately 5:30am to 5:30pm / 5:30pm to 5:30am
- Residential / local prospect - you must live within one hour of West Wyalong
- Applicants willing to relocate to the area are strongly encouraged to apply
- Long-term position offering stability and an excellent work/life balance

Your Background

You don't need previous underground mining experience. We're more interested in finding reliable, safety-minded people who are comfortable around machinery and genuinely want to build a career in mining.





- Operating experience from civil, agriculture, farming or similar industries will be highly regarded
- Labourers, farm hands and other hands-on workers looking to step into mining are encouraged to apply
- Trade assistants, mechanical TAs and mechanically minded applicants would also be well suited
- Comfortable working 12-hour day and night shifts in an underground environment
- Current driver's licence, strong work ethic and willingness to learn
