Your new role
As a Lead Practitioner in Family Services, you will support children, young people and families experiencing challenges and vulnerabilities across three service streams: Connecting, Strengthening and Restoring Families. You will provide tailored, evidence-informed interventions aligned with each family’s needs and Uniting’s Therapeutic Model of Care (TMoC), promoting safety, stability, wellbeing and healthy development.

Your skills and experience
You will meet the person specification in the position description, including having a Minimum tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare or a related discipline is essential
You will also have:
- Demonstrated ability in child, youth and family welfare.
- Experience with vulnerable families and adolescents.
- Strong knowledge of Best Interests Case Practice Model and CYFA 2005.
- Advanced understanding of child development, trauma and attachment.
