About the role

Ace Portables is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Internal Salesperson to join our sales team. This is a full-time position based in our Pakenham, VIC office. As an Internal Salesperson, you will be the vital link between our customers and our product offerings, handling inbound enquiries and proactively reaching out to clients to drive sales. You will play a crucial role in building strong customer relationships and ensuring we meet our sales targets whilst maintaining the high service standards for which Ace Portables is known.

Key responsibilities

- Managing inbound customer enquiries via phone, email and other communication channels with professionalism and efficiency

- Providing product knowledge and recommendations tailored to customer needs and budgets

- Processing customer orders accurately and ensuring smooth transaction completion

- Following up on quotations and sales leads to convert prospects into paying customers

- Maintaining detailed and accurate customer records and sales information within our systems

- Collaborating with the wider team to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly

- Exceeding personal and team sales targets through consistent effort and effective sales techniques

- Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues when required

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in internal sales, customer service or a similar sales-focused role

- Solid communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers





- Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail

- Proficiency with Windows computer system and MS Office software - Outlook, Word, Excel

- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets

- A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer service

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- Reliability and punctuality

- Experience in the portable buildings, construction equipment, or hire industry would be advantageous
