Impact You Will Have in This Role
Reporting to the Community Fundraising Manager, you will be the driving force behind providing essential administrative and event support, all while building meaningful relationships with supporters.
Your role will be key in helping the organisation reach fundraising targets by nurturing and growing a dedicated community of fundraisers. You will work closely with both new and existing supporters, ensuring they are inspired, empowered, and equipped to achieve their best fundraising results.
We are seeking a natural communicator who is confident engaging with others over the phone, by email, and in person.
You will have excellent planning and organisational skills, be detail-oriented with your documentation, and thrive as part of a small, highly collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the growth of community fundraising and challenge events, helping drive participation, engagement and income.
- Build strong relationships with fundraisers and supporters, delivering an exceptional experience from first enquiry through to post-event stewardship.
- Help fundraisers succeed by providing resources, marketing collateral, merchandise and online fundraising support.
- Support the delivery of signature events, VIP fundraisers and third-party fundraising activities, bringing campaigns and events to life.
- Keep supporter records accurate and up to date in the CRM, while supporting online fundraising platforms including Funraisin and Grassrootz.
- Work closely with the Community Fundraising team across supporter communications, outbound calling, event coordination and fundraising projects.
Key Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in community fundraising, supporter services, event management, or customer service.
- Strong empathy and professionalism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and online fundraising platforms.
- Experience with CRM databases (preferably Salesforce and Monday.com).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility and problem-solving skills.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively with others.
- A current driver's licence and willingness to attend fundraising events, including occasional out-of-hours work.
