About Little Sparrow Group
Little Sparrow Group is a registered NDIS disability service provider based in the inner suburbs of Melbourne, servicing participants across Victoria. We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team in South Melbourne and surrounding suburbs, supporting participants in Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes.

About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide personalised support to participants living with psychosocial, emotional, and daily support needs. You will assist them with daily routines, independent living skills, and community participation in a supportive, residential (SIL) setting.
This is a 24/7 rostered role, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and sleepover shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Support participants to live as independently as possible in SIL homes and the community
- Follow individual care plans and NDIS goals
- Assist with personal care, hygiene,
and mobility
- Support with daily tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and shopping
- Administer medication (within scope) and support healthcare needs
- Accompany participants to appointments and social/community activities
- Create a safe, respectful, and empowering home environment
Requirements
- Certificate III or IV in Disability Support, Individual Support, Allied Health, Mental Health, Aged Care, or equivalent
- Experience working with individuals with complex or psychosocial needs (highly regarded)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Valid Australian working rights
- Current Driver’s Licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
- Ability to use basic technology (e.g. phone apps, emails, documentation tools)
