About the Role

We are seeking a Support Registered Nurse to join our Urgent Care team. You will provide high-quality nursing care, support patient flow, assist with procedures and work collaboratively with triaging clinicians, medical practitioners and the broader healthcare team.

Your Responsibilities

- Support patient flow under the direction of the triaging clinician and medical team.




- Conduct clinical assessments and nursing care within your scope of practice.
- Recognise and escalate patient deterioration and clinical concerns promptly.
- Assist with patient preparation, investigations, pathology and imaging.
- Provide clinical care including wound care, plastering, vaccinations, procedural and post-procedure care.
- Administer medications, IV antibiotics and fluids in accordance with clinical direction and policies.
- Provide patient education and aftercare instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Ensure treatment rooms and clinical areas are clean, stocked and compliant.
- Collaborate with nurses, paramedics, medical practitioners and allied health professionals.
- Participate in emergency response and escalation processes within scope.
- Support workplace health and safety initiatives.

Please note: This role does not independently perform triage, ATS allocation or front-desk triage decision-making unless separately approved and credentialed by the business.

About You

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Bachelor of Nursing qualification.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in primary healthcare, emergency, urgent care, ICU, CCU,



rural or remote nursing.
- Demonstrated experience providing direct clinical care in rapid-paced environments.
- Strong clinical assessment, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to recognise deterioration and escalate appropriately.
- Experience in wound management, cannulation, vaccinations and procedural support highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organisation, time management and prioritisation skills.
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
