About the role:
Our client is a leading distributor of cleaning supplies to warehouses, offices, schools, commercial cleaners and everything in between. We are currently looking for a delivery driver to join their despatch and deliveries team.
The successful candidate will be delivering palletised goods in a 6-Pallet Tautliner truck to customers across the greater Perth area. The role does include having to hand unload the truck on site so physical labour will be required. Experience is not a necessity but a good attitude towards learning and being part of the team is.
Please note that as this is a full time, long term opportunity, it is not suitable for VISA applicants.
The day to day:
· Help load the truck using a forklift in the morning before leaving for your daily run
· Drive loaded trucks across Greater Perth – multi drop
· Using app based delivery system for directions and delivery confirmations
· Hand unloading of palletised goods on each site, following stringent instructions.
· Problem solving if necessary

What we need from you:
· Unrestricted C-Class Drivers Licence
· Valid Forklift Licence (LF)
· Ability to adhere to strict delivery instructions, as some deliveries won't have a contact on site
· Ability to communicate effectively with clients and customers
· Proficient with technology, using an app based delivery system
· Good natured – you are the face of the company to our customers receiving orders
· Reliability – be ready to turn up every day
· Experience in a warehouse / storeperson role.
