We’re currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a well-established Tier 2 commercial contractor on a major $100M new build project in the ACT.

This is a excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer looking to secure a short-term contract with a reputable contractor and gain exposure to a significant project.

Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of key project engineering and construction activities across the project.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing technical and engineering aspects of the project
- Coordinating subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- Assisting with procurement and subcontractor management
- Managing RFIs, technical queries and design coordination




- Supporting project programming, quality and compliance
- Working closely with the Site and Project Management teams to ensure project milestones are achieved

About You
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer within commercial construction
- Experience working on large-scale new build projects
- Strong understanding of construction processes, documentation and project delivery
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a rapid-paced project environment
- ACT experience is advantageous
