Harmony is looking for an accomplished finance professional who combines strong financial and commercial capability with genuine curiosity around technology, systems, data, automation and AI. Someone who naturally asks, how could we do this better?

The opportunity
Harmony Early Education is a successful, founder-led organisation operating 24 early education centres, with an ambitious growth strategy supported by continued acquisitions and new centre development.

Reporting directly to the CFO and working alongside an existing Financial Controller, this position combines core finance leadership with a significant focus across commercial performance, systems, transformation, and enterprise improvement. It offers the opportunity to broaden your capability across finance, commercial performance, systems, transformation, and strategic growth initiatives as the organisation continues to expand.

The opportunity is to improve how finance operates as Harmony scales, from reporting and business intelligence through to automation, AI, systems integration, and broader transformation. The focus is practical: identifying where technology and better processes can make the organisation more efficient, scalable, and commercially informed.

You’ll play a lead role in:

- Enterprise-wide transformation, acquisition integration, and strategic improvement projects
- AI,



automation and workflow improvement to reduce manual processes and improve scalability
- Systems optimisation and integration across finance, payroll, workforce management and reporting platforms
- Business intelligence, dashboards and better use of data across the organisation
- Business partnering with operational and executive leadership, providing analysis and insight to support decision-making
- Core financial operations, including management and statutory reporting, audit, tax, cash flow and financial control
- Financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, strategic modelling and commercial performance
- Strong financial governance, controls, compliance and leadership of the finance function
- Mergers, acquisitions, and integration activities, supporting Harmony's ongoing growth strategy

Who we're looking for
You will be a CA or CPA qualified finance professional with broad experience across financial management, commercial finance, and the core disciplines of a Financial Controller. Just as importantly, you will bring a genuine interest in how systems, technology and better processes can support a growing organisation.

You may have led or played a key role in systems implementation, reporting and BI improvements, automation, process redesign or broader transformation initiatives.
