An chance is available for an experienced Client Manager to join a Melbourne-based accounting team.

This role would suit an experienced accounting professional with 5+ years' experience in a professional accounting firm who enjoys working closely with clients, mentoring team members and contributing to business success.

Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of clients, including client relationships, task turnaround and WIP management.
Participate in and independently lead client meetings.
Perform analytical reviews of your own and the team's work to identify client opportunities and risks.
Review and sign off on client work.
Draft advice on financial, taxation and investment matters for Partner review.
Provide technical guidance, training and mentorship to team members.
Develop strategies to support Division 7A compliance.
Research technical matters and compile insights to support decision-making.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team.




Contribute to workplace groups and firm-wide initiatives.

About You
5+ years' experience within a professional accounting firm.
CA qualification preferred, with CPA-qualified candidates also considered.
Strong leadership, collaboration and mentoring skills.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
A proactive approach to client service and business growth.
Solid technical understanding and the ability to confidently work with clients and team members.

Salary

$100,000 – $135,000 + Super, depending on experience.
