AOD Counsellor & Facilitator - Opportunities Across Melbourne

Stream Healthcare are working with leading orgninisations across Melbourne, and are looking for qualified Counsellors or Social Workers who are passionate about supporting individuals experiencing mental health challenges related to AOD in a Forensic setting!

About the role
Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing individualised treatment and support plans
Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions and counselling to support recovery and emotional wellbeing
Building strong therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds using a trauma-informed and person-centred approach
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to coordinate effective care and achieve positive outcomes
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation, case notes, and reports in line with qualified and organisational standards

What you will need
Relevant qualifications in Counselling, Social Work, or related discipline
Current skilled registration and/or membership where applicable - AASW, ACA or PACFA
Experience working within Counsellor, AOD, and/or Program Facilitation!
Strong communication, rapport-building and report writing skills!
Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
