Are you a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Support Worker who takes pride in providing meaningful care? AvisCare is seeking dedicated Support Workers and Team Leaders to join our growing team in permanent part time and casual roles.

Your Role

You will provide high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, inclusion, and wellbeing. No two days are the same, making every shift both rewarding and meaningful.

Typical responsibilities include:
Personal care and manual handling




Medication assistance and mealtime support
Domestic assistance and transportation
Supporting social participation and community access
Building positive and trusting relationships with clients, families, and support networks

What We're Looking For
Experience supporting people living with disability (especially in home or community settings)
Genuine empathy, patience, and professionalism
Ability to commit to regular and ongoing shifts
Flexibility to support a variety of clients and environments
Solid communication and teamwork skills

Requirements

We welcome candidates who already hold the following qualifications and clearances, or are willing to obtain them:
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Police Clearance
Current First Aid Certificate
COVID-19 Vaccination
Manual Handling training (desirable)
Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support or similar (desirable)
Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
Full working rights in Australia
