About the role

Kitchen Hand / Cook position at Gami Korean Chicken, Moonee Ponds. This role suits someone who thrives in fast paced settings, enjoys hands on kitchen work, and wants to grow with a national brand.

Key responsibilities
Assist cooks and kitchen staff with food preparation
Assemble and prepare ingredients for cooking
Operate basic kitchen equipment and fryers (training provided)
Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Perform general cleaning duties including benches, equipment, and dishes
Restock stations and ensure ingredients are organised and labelled
Support smooth service during busy periods
Work collaboratively with BOH team members
Communicate clearly and professionally
Follow food safety, allergen, and hygiene procedures

About you
Availability Monday to Friday during daytime hours (essential)
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
Robust attention to detail
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Reliable, punctual,



and committed to teamwork
Ability to work with a variety of personalities
Initiative and a proactive approach to tasks
Some kitchen experience (desirable but not essential)
