Customer Service Representative

About the Prospect
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join an established team within the automotive industry. This role is ideal for someone with previous automotive industry experience who enjoys working with customers, has robust attention to detail and can confidently manage enquiries, order processing and administration in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role
You will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service while ensuring customer orders and enquiries are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:
Responding to inbound customer calls and enquiries
Handling product and technical enquiries via phone and email
Providing customers with product availability, pricing and order updates
Processing orders received via phone, email and electronic systems
Managing backorders, incorrect product codes and order queries
Processing invoices, credits and warranties
Advising customers of current and upcoming promotions
Supporting the Sales team with administration
Identifying potential sales opportunities and providing market intelligence
Participating in regular product and technical training




Preparing reports and maintaining accurate records

About You
You will be a confident and personable customer service qualified with experience within the automotive industry, ideally with exposure to automotive parts, products or technical enquiries.

You will ideally have:
Previous automotive industry experience
Customer service, order processing or sales support experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
The ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities
Confidence learning technical product information
Strong computer and administration skills
A proactive and solutions-focused approach
The ability to work collaboratively within a team
