About Us

JMD FM Pty Ltd (JMD Facility Management) is a growing facilities management company based in Karratha, Western Australia. We provide comprehensive commercial, industrial and maintenance services across the Pilbara region. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to support our expanding business operations.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements, management reports and budgets.
Maintain general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare and lodge BAS, GST and other statutory compliance reports.
Monitor cash flow, financial performance and business expenditure.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting.
Prepare payroll reconciliations and financial records.
Analyse financial data and provide recommendations to improve business performance.
Liaise with external accountants, auditors and regulatory authorities.




Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and taxation requirements.
Maintain accurate financial records and internal controls.

Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
Previous experience in an accounting role is preferred.
Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and taxation legislation.
Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks.
Robust analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
CPA/CA qualification or progress towards certification is desirable.
