The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant with a minimum of 4+ years of public practice experience to join our team.

You are a professional, hands-on, technically skilled accountant. You are confident interacting with clients and peers. You take pride in your work and ownership of outcomes to deliver high-quality compliance and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns (individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships)
BAS and IAS preparation and lodgement
Client liaison, relationship building and portfolio management
Timely and value adding tax and compliance advice to clients
Assisting with tax planning and advisory work
Supporting junior staff as required




Ensuring compliance with Australian tax legislation and accounting standards

About You
Minimum 4 years of experience in public practice
Australian taxation law and compliance expertise
Proficiency in Xero (preferred), MYOB, or similar accounting software
Solid technical accounting and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail
Robust client communication and relationship management skills
Ability to manage deadlines and work autonomously
Commitment to business growth, professional and career development

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
CA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion) highly regarded
