We are currently seeking a reliable Casual AV Technician / General Hand to join our team in Kensington, Melbourne. Whether you've only been in the industry a short time (we have on the job training) or a more experienced AV professional looking for versatile casual work, this role offers excellent variety and the chance to gain hands-on experience in the events sector. We are seeking a competent person that has experience with 3-tonne trucks/vans manual transmission

With over 25 years delivering top-quality audio visual, lighting, staging, and event power solutions, Wwave supports weddings, corporate events, parties, conferences, and more across Melbourne and Australia.
Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and pack down audio, visual, lighting, and staging equipment
Assist/perform equipment deliveries, pick-ups, and in office installations
Help with warehouse tasks, basic maintenance, testing,



and inventory management
Work as part of a small, supportive team on a casual basis (event-driven hours) with ability to accept or declien shifts based on your availability

We're looking for
Enthusiasm, a robust work ethic, and willingness to learn are significant
More experienced applicants are highly valued and can take on advanced technical responsibilities
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Ability to drive a manual vehicle and experience with box trucks is a big advantage

Pay: From $32.50 per hour

Licence/Certification:
Manual Driver Licence (Preferred)
