About Us

Our client, a well-established Japanese company, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their growing team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional to drive business growth, develop new client relationships, and manage key accounts. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in executing sales and marketing strategies while working closely with both Japanese and local stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Identify, research, prospect, and develop recent business opportunities
Build and maintain solid relationships with existing clients while expanding the customer base
Respond to client enquiries and collaborate with internal teams regarding product specifications, pricing, and solutions
Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, and tender submissions
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth prospects




Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to management
Liaise with external stakeholders and business partners to support commercial activities
Undertake other ad hoc duties as required

Your Profile
Previous experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management
Japanese language skill is ideal but not a must
Exposure to IT products, solutions, or technology-related sales will be highly regardedStrong relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
A proactive and results-driven approach with a passion for winning new business
Excellent organisational and time management skills
The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment
Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset
