About the role

Achieve Recruitment Solutions is a Townsville-based labour hire specialist, connecting skilled, reliable workers with clients across Australia who need people on the ground. We're looking for a driven, people-focused Talent Acquisition & Placement Consultant to proactively build and maintain a solid talent pool — this role is about far more than posting an ad and waiting. No recruitment background required: what matters most is your confidence with people, resourcefulness, and ability to juggle multiple clients and candidates at once.

Key responsibilities
Build genuine relationships with clients — introduced through our existing relationships — understanding their workforce needs and delivering the right people, on time.
Proactively source and screen candidates using our database, qualified networks and other creative search methods.
Continuously grow and maintain an up-to-date talent pool so you're always ready to fill roles quickly.
Manage multiple live roles, clients and candidates at once, prioritising effectively to meet deadlines.





About you
A confident, personable communicator who builds trust quickly with clients and candidates.
Resourceful and proactive — you think beyond job ads alone to find the right candidate.
Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Recruitment experience isn't required — we welcome backgrounds in sales, account management, customer service or hospitality.
Current driver's licence and full working rights in Australia.
