Personal Care Attendant – Supported Residential Service

We are looking for a reliable and caring Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to join our Supported Residential Service (SRS).

Please note this is a low-care facility. It is not NDIS support work and is different from aged care. We do not have high-care residents. Most residents are independent and able to manage their own daily routines.

The role is mainly to provide straightforward day-to-day support in a home-like setting.

Main duties include:
Daily general cleaning and housekeeping tasks
Supporting residents with their daily routines when needed
Providing emotional support and friendly communication
Monitoring residents’ general wellbeing
Reporting any concerns to the Manager or PSC
Assisting with basic household duties, similar to helping around the home
Following workplace policies and procedures

Requirements:




Certificate III or above in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Community Services or similar
Current First Aid certificate
Medication Administration certificate preferred
If you do not have medication training, relevant training can be provided
Reliable, patient and willing to work as part of a team
Previous SRS, support work or care experience is preferred but not essential

This is a straightforward and practical role in a friendly low-care residential setting. It would suit someone who is caring, responsible and happy to assist with daily household tasks and resident support.

Pay: $24.95 – $30.00 per hour
