CLS is a commercial laundry located in Cannonvale, servicing the Whitsunday Islands and mainland hotels. We are seeking motivated full time Production Operators to join our morning and afternoon teams.

Production Operator

As a Production Operator, your primary focus will be processing linen efficiently through our production lines while maintaining the highest standards of quality. This role involves feeding linen through commercial laundry machinery, quality checking finished products and working as part of a fast-paced production team.

Working Hours & Availability

Applicants must be available to work five days per week on either the morning or afternoon team (or a rotating roster if required), with Saturday work during busy periods including school holidays, Christmas and public holidays.

Shift Times

AM TEAM (Mon–Fri): 6:00am – 2:00pm

PM TEAM (Mon–Fri): 12:00pm – 8:00pm

Saturday: 6:00am – 12:00pm / 2:00pm

Please note that finishing times may vary depending on workload.

Requirements

Successful applicants must:
Hold a current forklift licence (highly desirable)
Be physically fit and capable of working at a fast pace
Be comfortable working in a warm environment




Be available to work Saturdays during busy periods
Be dependable and committed
Work well within a team workplace
Have reliable transport
Be available Monday to Friday for either the AM or PM team
Have no planned leave during December and January

Pay Rates

Adult Full-Time & Penalty Rates

Laundry Employee Level 1
Ordinary Rate: $25.77/hr
Before 6:00am: $38.66/hr
Overtime (after 7.6 hours): $38.66/hr
After 6:00pm: $38.66/hr
Saturday (first 3 hours): $38.66/hr
Saturday (after 3 hours) & Sunday: $51.54/hr
Public Holidays: $64.43/hr

Rates increase after 6 months in accordance with the award.

Junior rates apply to employees aged under 20 years.
