Accounts Administrator / Data Entry - Penrith

We’re looking for a reliable and organised Accounts Administrator to join our team. This position would suit someone with strong attention to detail who is interested in developing practical experience in accounts and office administration.

Previous experience is welcome but not essential, as training and support will be provided. Applicants at different stages of their careers will be considered.

Key responsibilities
Entering supplier and purchase invoices
Preparing and entering customer invoices
Completing general accounts data entry
Checking information for accuracy and following up discrepancies
Maintaining organised electronic and paper records
Assisting with general accounts and administrative tasks
Learning backup payroll support duties as required

Previous office or accounts experience is helpful but not essential

Hours

This is a full-time position working 38 ordinary hours per week, Monday to Friday. The final daily start and finish times will be agreed with the successful applicant.

Pay and conditions

The position is expected to be classified as Level 2, Year 1 under the Clerks – Private Sector Award 2020.

The applicable rate will be determined in accordance with the Award, based on the successful applicant’s age, relevant experience and duties. Superannuation will be paid in addition.
